Due to my KDEmod-modding, I installed conky yesterday and designed a .conkyrc for my needs. Inpired by this thread I created the following:

This tutorial will explain you how to mount internal ntfs windows drives..

Go to your console and type
# ls -l /dev/disk/by-uuid
You will see an output like this

In this tutorial I will explain how I installed my TV-Card (Medion MD 9717 (?)) on my archlinux system.
This tutorial might be useful for you even if your tv-card is by a different manufacturer and is a different type because the main steps will be still the same- as long as it is no bttv card.
(check this via ‘# dmesg | grep saa’. If there are entries found you are using a saa card.)

First of all you have to add your user to the groups “video” and “audio”. You can do this typing the following line in your console as root:
# gpasswd -a username video
# gpasswd -a username audio

I just played a great 2on2 DotA Game with Sailor[pCon] yesterday. I played Spiritbreaker, Sailor randomed the Treant. Our enemies had Knight and Pudge.

It was a fast game, from begin to end, but we owned and showed them how to roll =D
