Today I called the german hp support hotline to ask some questions about hp-us, Student prices,..
I got to admit I was surprised about the time I had to wait until a phone-agent accepted my call~ because this was just a matter of seconds.
When I explained my problems and questions to her, I was connected to someone else- I was wondering about that first but when the other agent took my call, she already knew what I asked before and she also knew the answers. No matter what I asked, a fast answer was given and she was friendly all the time.
So my rating for the HP support hotline germany is a 5star one. Good Job !

I want to apologize for not writing any news in the last days but as I am currently moving to the City I am going to study in (Cottbus), I do not have enough time to write any good article.
I will, though, keep you informed about my moving. I will soon present some pictures of my new room here on my blog so make sure you don’t miss a thing =)

I tested the svn QT4 Version of kile for a few days now, so its time to release my opinion about it.
The first thing i noticed was the menue-change in the top-bar. If you are new to tex or not familiar this might be a great change for you because now, you do have the possibility to insert commands via buttons.

What I personally loved about the new version is the “Structure”-bar you can open on the left handed bar now.
This feature allows you to reconstruct your single chapters, sections,.. which is great in my eyes.

For now I only tested textish features and no chemistry or math functions for e.g.
The new kile qt4 svn versions never crashed on me and did not produce any errors. Care if you want to write in german with “ä,ü,ö,..” though. You got to set the encoding to UTF8 in the settings before.

On Saturday, another incident happened at sector 34- As the official press release says, it was a large Helium leak which was caused by a faulty electrical connection between two magnets.
In the press release, the CERN team highlighted that this happened while there was no beam going around in the LHC.
They also point out that the repair is only a matter of days and the LHC will then be fully functionally again.

I really had a hard time to come to where I am now. It’s is not very close to a decision still, but at least I do have found two configurations I really like. They are both HP Pavilion models because I think in these days, HP is granting the best money/efficiency ratio.
Here go the configurations:
