I am pretty busy with working and building a new Joomla based website for some club these days so I did not have time to post any big news here.
But today I hooked my acoustic guitar up with some gorgeous Hannabach Pure Gold Plated strings!

Look what I just found browsing the NeedForSpeed Shift website:
For all of you who can’t see, the text on the picture says:
“Video available soon – available in 14394days 7hrs 50min“ which is actually just a bit less than 40 years.
EA, you guys better push yourself to get back in the time schedule!

My first ‘back’ is: I am back from my 5 days near Hamburg, Germany. Some fellow students and I visited another fellow student, originally from the very north of Germany, up there. We had a great time hanging out together and got to know the very beautiful landscape there. Thanks for the trip again, mate!
My second ‘back’ is that I am finally back to running! With my new Mikros rail (see here), after for what feels like eternity, I dared to start running again. And it was better than I expected it to be for the first time after my torn ligament (see here).
I am now just glad that I could return to doing sports and begin my training for the new-year’s-run in December! Check out my training diary to follow my steps again (link can be found in the About section)
Additionally, I decided to take the chance and start a really healthy eating phase while being home during my semester break. Let’s see how long I hang on to this plan; for now it’s working out fine with e.g. fresh fruits (blackberries, raspberries, small yellow plums) out of our own garden mixed with milk to a very delicious smoothie:

According to the british government under Tony Blair, a RFID-chip on British ID cards should include informations about the owners facial identity as well as his fingerprints. The goal they want to achieve is a better way to oppose terrorism.
One major aspect opponents of the project always base themselves on is the lack of security that necessarily comes with such informations stored on ID cards. This argument always gets rejected by the government, though. There aren’t any security issues with such a card, they say.

Today I fetched my new medical rail, a Mikros 110-NV (size S). I got the rail because of my torn ligament (see here).
Now that the rupture happened some weeks ago, I want to start doing sports again but as my ankle still feels a bit insecure and wobbly I decided to get a rail to be on the safe side.
For doing sports, the Aircast rail (size M) I had before is just too shaky and too fat; it does extremely widen all shoes you wear it in.
The first impression is positive, the 110-NV seems to really give stability and it fits quite well, although it is only worn for around an hour (the material adapts to the form of your foot and leg after some time).
It still has to pass the real load test when I am going to try it out running and playing beachvolleyball but I think it will absolve the tests quite good!

Finally, around two years after his first album, Ronald Jenkees released his second album “Disorganized fun” !
For the moment, only the *.mp3 download version of the album is available. The ‘real’ CD is in work though and can be soon pre-ordered on his website.
Check out the great work of this genius and buy his CD to support him and make him able to continue working with music in the future.
If you want to know more about Ronald Jenkees and his music, check out his about page on his blog.
